SOOOO life has been absolutely crazy lately...and yes...I have been baking in my little amounts of free time but I have not been keeping up with this blog!!! It has been on my mind every time I bake something and forget to record it!!
Lets see, I have made mini fruit pastry tarts....I will have to remember that recipe and post new pictures (Since I forgot to take them the first time around). They were gone before I could grab my camera. Really refreshing and great for summertime with fresh berries and a lighter tasting vanilla/almond custard. mmm
hmmm, I made a blueberry lemon cheesecake....the bottom of the crust burnt because of our lovely oven downstairs that heats up in about a second. But everyone still ate it and enjoyed it..surprisingly.
I also made a burnt butter sponge cake with ice cream, strawberries and whipped cream. This was AMAZING!!! It was sort of a twist on Strawberry shortcake...soo good.
I know ther are no lovely photos to accompany this post but I will make these items again...I'm sure of it and post them in the near future.
